Provide administrative support to lawyers, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and arranging meetings and conferences.
Prepare and format legal documents, correspondence, and court filings, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to legal requirements and deadlines.
Assist in drafting and editing legal documents, including letters, contracts, pleadings, and briefs, under the direction of lawyers.
Coordinate and track the progress of legal matters, including maintaining case files, tracking deadlines, and managing document flow.
Communicate with clients, courts, government agencies, and other parties to schedule appointments, gather information, and coordinate logistics.
Organize and maintain physical and electronic files, records, and databases, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection laws.
Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including answering phones, screening calls, and responding to inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Assist in billing and invoicing processes, including preparing billing statements, tracking billable hours, and following up on outstanding invoices.
Assist lawyers in research activities, including conducting legal research, gathering relevant information, and preparing summaries and reports.
Perform general office duties, including photocopying, scanning, faxing, filing, and other administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements
Diploma or certificate in Legal Secretarial Studies, Office Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 4-5 years of experience as a legal secretary or administrative assistant in a law firm or legal environment.
Strong knowledge of legal terminology, document formats, and court procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and legal software applications, such as document management systems and legal billing software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, lawyers, and staff.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on producing high-quality work products.
Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive and confidential information.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients and colleagues.
